Please try the new snapshot released today. However, you should be aware
it is still in development state and there are know areas where it is

to give you probably mode trouble than somewhat well configured XFree
3.3.3
system.
Also the Permedia2 is the only supported chipset at the moment.

This has nothing to do with Xwindows, and I strongly recommend you

The file need to be gzipped, so you may need to do
bunzip2 linux-v.e.r.tar.bz2
gzip linux-v.e.r.tar

the libGGI tree in the kgi-0.9 snapshot is broken. Please refer to
the installation section of kgi-0.9/README.install what to do in what
order.

Have you read the README.install file, section "installation" already?
If not, please do first, and if so, please let me know where it is
confusing to you.
