Sure. The functions are there. But, unfortunately not its
implementation. libgpf is what you are searching for.
It can be found in the ggi-libs CVS module.

It is possible, when you use libggimisc in the right way.

So you should be able to get it working on the X, Xlib, xf86dga and
fbdev-target (accelerated) at least.
