I'll try, in a sentence: DirectFB implements accelerated access to
more features than currently implemented by the LibGGI API+extensions,
and on more chipsets than LibGGI, however, DirectFB is currently
restricted to using the linux fbdev as a backend, and has a less
flexible, less abstract, and unextendable API.

Work started to put a lot of demands on my time, and Cristoph got a
job which takes him away from e-mail during the week. If we pushed
to get it done this weekend, though, I think that would be doable.
Will you be available for that?

BTW, folks, Cristoph can now be found during the day on IRC
(irc.openprojects.net, channel #ggi). And I also drop in there
pretty frequently. By "during the day" I mean using his time over
there in .de
