I just added the dist dir and the spec file for building rpms.

Please, when libggimisc is released use "make distcheck" to generate the
source tar ball for distribution. If this isn't done then there will be
missing files and unconfigured files in the source distribution.

Some people mentioned to me that the libgii-0.8 and libggi-2.0
distributions were missing files. I checked and the source tars were
not generated with "make distcheck".

There is another problem with the libgii-0.8 and libggi-2.0
distributions - the source tar's were named
<libname>-<version>.src.tar.<compression>. The GNU standard for source
distribution is <libname>-<version>.tar.<compression>. Having the
".src" inserted into the file name broke the rpm spec file which assumed
standard naming conventions.

A minor discrepency surfaced with the rpm spec files for libgii and
libggi: the "Source" lines in the rpm spec file didn't reflect where the
source was placed for distribution on the ftp servers.

Of the above problems I am mostly concerned with using "make distcheck".
The others I will accept what the GGI team decides for naming
conventions and will modify the rpm spec files to reflect the decision.

PS. Who is the release manager that builds the distribution tars,
presents them to the group, decides when they are approved, and then
places them on the FTP site? Christoph?
