OK, I just forwarded the last mail I got. But I can't forward all
requests, because there are also requests from IRC.

Yesterday, I guy with the nickname samcconn tried to run a ggi demo on his
Linux/MIPS box without success, because libtool build static libs instead
of shared ones for an unknown reason to me. To my surprise he compiled and
installed gii and ggi successful, just the shared libs were missing in
/usr/local/lib/ggi/display/*. That's why he couldn't start no demo.

If GGI had static linking support, then he would have been able to run
GGI... Such problems are indirect feature requests (at least for me)

I pointed him to Thayne as he is our libtool expert...
