Friends I build my stage1 compiler with DEBUG on, but it is very very slow. I think one of the DEBUG tests must be taking ages. But I don't know which one. Would anyone caser to build GHC with DEBUG and profiling enabled, and see where the time is going? Probably useful to also build with DEBUG disabled and profiling, so you can compare like with like. It would be v helpful. Thanks!
