 hrmm... I can't seem to get ghc to use clang instead.
 But if you install a newer version of gcc than the apple provided 4.2
 (such as 4.8) and make sure that ghc picks the first gcc in its path (and
 have that be eg gcc 4.8), you can replicate this test case.
