Hi!

I guess I'm doing something really wrong, but I don't know what exactly.
I downloaded http://ghdl.free.fr/site/uploads/Main/ghdl-win-installer-latest.exe (from http://ghdl.free.fr/site/pmwiki.php?n=Main.Download) It is supposed to be the Windows installer, so I executed it. I used the default destination (C:\Program Files\Ghdl\)
Then I tried to compile a simple hello world, but it doesn't work at all.
I can run the ghdl.exe binary (after manually adding it to the PATH, isn't supposed to be added by the installer?) But it can't analyze the .vhdl file, it creates the work-obj93.cf file, but it doesn't create the .o
So I started to look the installation and is quite bizarre.
First, the installer is just 1.1 MB, but the Linux installer is 4,6 MB aprox. Second, I can't find any of the compiled libraries, only sources. The ghdl1 back-end is also missing. So I can see why it doesn't work, and if I take the small size as a clue, I conclude they aren't in the installer. The question is: where are they? what I'm missing? isn't the installer supposed to be self contained?

Please give me some advise.

Best regards, SET
