Hi there!

I successfully compiled ghdl under NetBSD following instructions in
README! The biggest problem I had was regarding my environment being
bad configured (gmp somewhere, mpfr somewhere else, etc.).

But.... there was two problems yet:

1. "-ld" for linking doesn't exist in BSD platforms (because it is built
in libc). So I had to manually take it off of grt.lst. BTW, how is
grt.lst generated? What is that grt thing? (I'm not familiar with
   GCC internals, sorry).

2. For some reason, assert() in translate/grt/config/config/pthread.c,
line 174. Any clue on that?

I am not familiar with GCC internals, nor VDHL (just a computer science
studant trying to learn some electronics), but I can provide feedback
under NetBSD if you want.

Thank you.
