Isn't the GNAT 4.6 the problem here? It has been noted on this list a couple of times that Ubuntu 12 does not come with ghdl for GNAT 4.6 reason. I asked apt-get to install gnat-gps, which also wants to pull in gnat 4.6 and during that process gnat 4.4 and ghdl would be removed from Debian.
