Hi Joris,
 I have yet to test/verify your package, but are there known issues already?

I'm an official DD but I've oh so very limited time... would you be
interested in jumping thru the hoops required to become a Debian
Maintainer (process much less involving than becoming a DD)?
I'd be willing to mentor/sponsor you if you are interested.
