I'm more of a vi/command line guy, but IDEs always sell well. You can't
probably fail with such a project from the usage perspective,
considering you'd only compete with Isim or free Modelsim versions (and
I'm not being ironic). Competing against stuff like Sigasi could be
somewhat harder. Another hard part I'd see in getting all the cross
platform stuff run smoothly (Windows, Linux, ...). Anyhow, why not just
give it a try?
