I also attached config.status, the error comes from there. The expansion of
CFLAGS, with all the spaces it contains, makes the error. I could only make it
work by generating another script (sedcmds), see my previous diff.
Ah thank you for the clarification. I have pushed a change to configure
(not exactly yours as I didn't want to create another script).
I thought so, this was in the old package build script, so I just kept it. I've
no idea about the actual impact these stuff have on simulation speed (ditto for
lto which also seems enabled).
cloog is only required for advanced optimizations. I haven't tested LTO
with ghdl.
Apparently ghdl is crashing during the first compilation because of a
fortify assertion. Can you display a backtrace on the fortify failure ?
I will investigate that (but later). So try with mcode or without
fortify :-(
