Apparently ghdl is crashing during the first compilation because of a
fortify assertion. Can you display a backtrace on the fortify failure ?
I will investigate that (but later). So try with mcode or without
fortify :-(
I don't really know what is a "fortify assertion" nor how to disable it. Anyway
it should work with it.
I tried to get a better backtrace by appending -O0 -g to CFLAGS and CXXFLAGS,
before executing the configures & makes. It seems to work, the dump is attached.
You asked for the backtrace so I guess you can't reproduce this failure on your
machine? Any idea about what could cause this?

ortho_gcc.ads hasn't been regenerated. Now done, so if you pull the
changes it should work (well, it shouldn't fail at that place at least).
