I'm using the ghdl on Ubuntu 14;04LTS, use the package provided
on sourceforge
ghdl_0.33-1ubuntu1_amd64.deb
which indeed uses llvm
ghdl -v
GHDL 0.33 (20150921) [Dunoon edition]
Compiled with GNAT Version: 4.8
llvm code generator
Are there also Debian packages available with ghdl using gcc as back-end ?
