I was just surprised because it was directly working with your last OS X
release.
It should still work with OS X, because -fPIC is the default.
If you really want this capability, you can still tweak a little bit the
Makefile to achieve what you need.
Otherwise, you can also look at cocotb: they mix vhdl and python, but
vhdl is the main and python the library.
Anyhow. It's really a great tool! Thank you very much for developing and
maintaining it!
