Hello. I'm considering the Emacs conference in London [1] as well, on March 30th. London is not that far from where I live and the event is on a Saturday, which suits me well; it's the day before easter -- not that I care about religious festivities, but I think we have to stress this to remind others of possible previous engagements.
There are a couple familiar names among the speakers [2], but I hope that other GNU friends want to join in another unofficial get-together. I also suspect there may be need for more people (gently) emphasizing software freedom issues at the gathering.
