Yes, it sounds very reasonable.  But it's not so clear to me how to
improve attendance in practice.

Well, you people from Düsseldorf or Germany or anywhere: as Reuben was
saying, you can invite some friends interested in the idea of free
software who want to meet us in person.  You know, we're
anthropologically interesting people.
