You can change the visualization of the signal plot window to draw
separate points without a continuous line if you use the function
mpLayer::SetContinuity( ):
/** Set the 'continuity' property of the layer (true:draws a
continuous line, false:draws separate points).

void SetContinuity(bool continuity) {m_continuous = continuity;}
The working areas don't have a submenu option. However, we can add
this feature for the next release of GIMIAS.
