question could be interesting for other developers.
To create a standalone application using a Matlab file, you need
Matlab compiler and a C++ compatible compiler installed on your computer. I
used Matlab R2007b and Visual Studio 2005. In Matlab, theres a tool called
deploytool that assists you to create a project and compile it. Ive
followed the instructions of this web site:

Ive compiled the simple function "function yp = test(x); yp = x *
2;" with success and an executable has been generated that executes the
function.
We don't have too much expertise using Matlab compiler, but at least
this could be a starting point.
