Thank you for your feedback! Probably you need to configure
the proxy in the web updater. I attach you a screenshot of the configuration
window. However, we will try to change the error message, so it will be more
clear how to solve this problem. We added your bug in MantisBT:

If you are not interested in automatic updates, you can
disable this feature in Edit->Preferences->Automatic Updates.
