THE SEXY CHEF, A SOUGHT-AFTER healthy, fresh food delivery service in
Manila, has opened The Sexy Chef Kiosk, located at the cafeteria of Kraft
Foods, Philippines Canteen in Sucat, Parañaque.

One of the secrets to the company’s success, said Rachel Alejandro, co-owner
of The Sexy Chef along with her sister Barni, is that, unlike other diets
and home delivery services, The Sexy Chef caters as much to the palette of
the dieter as it does to his or her shedding of pounds.

“We love to eat healthy foods, but have often found that healthy diets are
big on benefits, but short on taste. It was important for us to create a
menu that was enjoyable to eat, and good for you.”

Barni comes up with wholesome appetizers, entrees and desserts for an ideal
blend of taste, texture, proper portions and sound substitutions—all now
available at The Sexy Chef Kiosk (tel. 911SEXY [7399], 9118881, 4407191 or
0917-799-2433; visit www.thesexychefcafe.com).

The South Beach Plan offers Spinach & Bacon Frittata or a fresh Vegetable
Omelet for breakfast. For lunch, there’s Thai Beef Salad or Osso Bucco,
Chicken Adobo, Chicken Teriyaki, Chicken in White Wine or Grilled Burger.
Dinner has Grilled Shrimp and Lentil Curry or Beef Tapa, or Fish Putanesca.
For dessert—Almond Gelato, Banana Pudding, Chocolate Mouse; while snacks
consist of Cashew nuts or Chicken Dogs in Dip.

The regular menu includes filling Beef or Vegetable Burritos, Crab and Mango
Salad; Pasta Bolognese; sandwiches ranging from Grilled Chicken Pesto, Fish
Fillet or Cajun Chicken.

Prices on the regular menu range from P105-150.

“We’re hoping that the people who go on the diet realize that we offer a
lifestyle, not just a diet. We hope to show them that with simple
substitutions—oils, for example, flaxseed, nut, canola oils—make a world of
a difference in the meal,” said Alejandro.

The Sexy Chef also offers Bridal Packages tailor-made for the busy
bride-to-be and her entourage who want to look great for the wedding day. It
has teamed up with specialty designer house Okasyon to offer packages for
the bride and her ladies.
