Not yet... at the moment it's possible to use even gtk or qt for the
UI but they are slowly migrating to their own rubbish. It's possible
simpler for them than to have an additional layer between the UI and
the widget toolkit.
Anyway, GIMP doesn't suffer from such ideas because we already HAVE
our own toolkit for GIMP... and it even seems to work with windows...
