You just denounced a mail where somebody put a lot of thought into it as
"one great piece of rubbish!".
If that is not rude I don't know. No, smileys don't help alleviating
this.
Also I tend to shorten quoted Mails to the stuff I respond to. That
doesn't mean that I did not read it.
