As a Mac user, I'm happy that GIMP finally removed the XQuartz dependency. Would some GIMP developers like to do the same for other Mac Gtk projects such as Inkscape <http://inkscape.org/> or GnuCash <http://www.gnucash.org/>? The latter is in real need of an interface update.
