Hi All,

I'm not subscribed to this mailing list, so please copy me in any
replies...

I'm trying (and succeeding!) to build a binary distribution for the Gimp
(1.1.14) on AIX 4.3.2. Everything appears to work, except for the
perl plugins, which generate a core. "make test" in
.../gimp-1.1.14/plug-ins/perl produces:

# make test

Is this a perl or a Gimp problem? Here's a list of the perl things
installed (ignore the "freeware." and the "rte.", these are names
from the AIX packaging system):

# lslpp -l "freeware.perl*"
  Fileset Level State Description

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Path: /usr/lib/objrepos
freeware.perl.gtk.rte 0.61.23.0 COMMITTED Perl GTK (Gimp ToolKit) Module
freeware.perl.pdl.rte 2.0.3.0 COMMITTED Perl Data Language Module
freeware.perl.rte 5.5.3.0 COMMITTED PERL scripting language
                                                 runtime

Are there any known problems that I'm missing? The other plugins load
without any problems and the basic gimp window opens etc..

Thanks for any help
Ciaran
