Hm. Someone here says that gimp just segvs on a 1bpp display; perhaps it should just refuse to run?
Package: gimp1.1 Version: 1.1.14-3 gimp catches SIGSEGV when displayed on a sparcstation ELC, a 1bpp xterminal. The signal is caught after the logo is displayed and the loading bargraph reaches 100%.
