Hi, I set a new HDD on my old PC, and my working space is away from Cygwin and back to FreeBSD today, then I bumped on a matter.
tools/xml2po.py doesn't work because its shebang line is an absolute path. Using env(1) command #! /usr/bin/env python like other scripts in the "tools" folder will solve it. The attached patch file acts this modification. On Wikipedia, they say this change causes another problem ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shebang_(Unix)#Portability ), but this altered script works well on FreeBSD in my PC.
