That was what I have mentioned before: To be more exact: In your user-directory there is a GIMP-directory with your specifed GIMP-Profile You can either rename or delete it. Gimp will try then to create a new one. If that doesn't work, You can create a new user-profile in your windows XP-installation an try everything agein. May be there locally got something awry.
