Ok I just got this computer with windows 8! I've downloaded GIMP 3 times (2 different sources) and each time I click open (there is no run option) my mouse turns into the little loading symbol and then nothing happens. It shows up in task manager as running, but nothing comes up at all. Even when I end task and try to delete the file it doesn't work. Help I really need to use GIMP :(
