Hi, Lauren You should be aware that when you start getting to know GIMP you will soon be doing far more than what you have listed here, because it is fun and GIMP will arouse and feed your creative energies. Only the periodic frustrations (GIMP, after all, runs on a computer and computers are just full of "malicious obedience") will save you from becoming a hopelessly addicted wirehead.
