Hello, Gimp 3.0 will release after Gimp 2.10. there is no fix timeline. Gimp 3.10 will be released as soon as Gimp is completely ported to GEGL (16 bit support and more). Gimp 3.0 will be released after Gimp is then ported from gtk 2 to gtk 3. The Gimp development is so slow, because there are not enough developer working on it. It could be speed up with more developers.
