Hello, if you are writing text with the Text tool, there may be some other causes, if you can´t see the text. First: check your foreground color. If you are using the same text color as is the background oft he image, you will not see your text. Second: if you are working with layers, make shure the uppermost layer is active before you begin typing. Otherwise the text may be hidden behind an overlaying layer. Greetings
