Remember we have more than 3 different input modi:
3. computer keyboard
2. mouse
1. touch-pad screen
In that case:
- Edit > Copy
- Edit > Paste as > New Layer
Not exactly the same, since the pasted area ends up in the top right
corner, instead of exactly overlapping its source.
