A snag. Just had a closer look at Partha's Gimp 2.8.14 installation. It does have resynthesizer installed, lots of extra plugins but **no** 'heal selection' So either add that plugin yourself or use the regular Gimp 2.8.18 installation from www.gimp.org and back to installing from that zip file I referenced.
