I just installing GIMP 2.10.2 and selected to install the "Debug Symbols" as well hoping it would help diagnose any future crashes but when I went to launch GIMP, I just got an error window saying "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000005). Click OK to close the application." I click OK, and another one comes up.
Looking at the title of the error windows, it seems to be trying to load the various plugin files but with a ".debug" extension. So for example, "blur.exe.debug," or "colorify.exe.debug." I can hold the enter key to select OK for all of them and GIMP will launch but I have to do that every time GIMP loads. I'm not sure if I'm missing some sort of files or if this is just a bug in the Windows version. Uninstalling and reinstalling without selecting to install the debug symbols fixes the issue.
