As I understand it, when an image comes INTO gimp, and it has a color profile
embedded in it... gimp can preserve it, and then put it into the exported
result.
However, when there is no initial profile.. or you convert it gimp internal
srgb...
it no longer embeds a color profile into the result.

I would really like a way to force it to embed a color profile, for consistency
of viewing on the web
(chrome in particular really, really wants one)

for example, the standard sRGB IEC61966-2.1 

Is there a way?
