I am trying to use the text tool and nothing is happening except it is freezing gimp up. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. Looked up youtube to make sure I was doing it right. I even made just a single layer test image and nothing. I click on the text icon or from the menu and click where I want the text and nada. Most of the time I get Gimp not responding.
