I am trying to move a layer, but every time I use the move tool, it just anchors the selection. I'm on a Mac using Gimp 2.10, and I've tried all the suggested CTRL, ALT, and COMMAND prompts. Nothing has worked. To be more specific, I'm editing images from a game for a roleplay (as nerdy as it sounds, lol), and I can't get the character's glasses (the new layer) to move to the correct position.
So basically, when I try to move the glasses, using the move tool anchors it without moving it.
