Hello Ken Windows 10 does not play nice with Gimp , read that a lot in other forum and for the most part Win 10 is not too bothered about helping out with " those little problems "seems to be the way they see it. If you want to look into community help types and help in general look at Linux - these days it's easier than it used to be and a lot of operating systems can be installed with a little common sense also reading the install guide and the very helpful forums IF you should need that help , at the now I'm using Netrunner Rolling it's a Manjaro derivative , 9 months and still going good , the occasional hiccup and the help is there when I need it , Mint is popular also , spend a moment at http://distrowatch.com/ , if you decide on a ubuntu family distro double triple check the reviews use with caution ( privacy ) (yours) , It is not difficult to run a Linux operating system and the admins of the Linux O.S. are there for you and so is the community. Sorry I cannot help with Windos 10 -- fa-flyingalone (via www.gimpusers.com/forums) _______________________________________________ gimp-user-list mailing list List address: gimp-user-list@gnome.org List membership: https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gimp-user-list List archives: https://mail.gnome.org/archives/gimp-user-list
