Thanks a lot for the detailed explanation. Before that I deleted GIMP regarding to your previous comment and install GIMP on the terminal and automatically GIMP 2.8. Then I tried to open NEF files and it worked! Regarding to this comment I installed GIMP 2.10 and got all of the packages updated. Then BUM! Now I can open NEF files in GIMP 2.10. Finally it worked! Thank you so much again.
