Yes - i often set layer opacity to zero for similar reasons.

A right-click on the image will put focus back there, at least with
most Linux systems.

I think this happened because the input fields now support expressions,
which is super useful in e.g. scale image, but not everywhere. E.g. you
can scale an image to a third of its size by putting /3 after the
current width.
