I have successfully set up XFree86 4.0.3 with some virtual screen resolution,
but I had lost lots of desktop space as compared to XFree86 3.3.6.

In the past, I was able to get the mode "640x480" and a virtual resolution of
2400 x 2000 to work well with my Voodoo3 2000 AGP 16MB card. But, now - with
4.0.3, I have lost half of that vast desktop "real estate", and I am stuck
with a virtual resolution equivalent to about 1024x768. I have tried to work
this out for a while, and I have posted to other lists, to no avail. Nobody
seems to know on those other lists - even on the XFree86 lists.

The bottom line is: I want the same functionality in 4.0.3 as I had in
3.3.6. I have included my XFree86Config file from /etc/X11.

Can somebody help me out?

Thanks in advance.
