Hi: I thought I'd download the source for Gimp-1.2.1.tar.gz and leave
1.04 behind. But, it wasn't to be. I did ./configure, make and then
typed make install with this response:
 make install
Making install in tools
make[1]: Entering directory `/home/tompoe/gimp-1.2.1/tools'

/bin/sh ../mkinstalldirs /usr/local/bin
 /bin/sh ../libtool --mode=install /usr/bin/ginstall -c gimp-remote
/usr/bin/ginstall -c gimp-remote /usr/local/bin/gimp-remote
/usr/bin/ginstall: cannot create regular file
`/usr/local/bin/gimp-remote': Permission denied

What's gimp-remote, and where do I find info for it? Can this be fixed?,
or am I in deep do-do. 8-)
Thanks, Tom
