Does anyone know why the Gimp makes X11 bitmap fonts look blurry? It looks to me like it's re-aliasing them so that they fit on a more fine grid than the raster grid, but it still only gives you pixel precision when moving the selected rasterized font around afterwards. Is there a way to suppress this behavior?
