I have 3 new questions that have popped up in the last few miniatures.. Hope you guys 
don't mind. 

1. Can you bind a keyboard shortcut to change the opacity of my brush. 

2. Can you set the cursor of a tool to show the size of the currently select brush?

3. Is anybody out there exporting dtx textures from gimp, is it possible to get it to 
use the Photoshop exporter "dds.8bi"

right click on the image, and go to:

Image -> Transforms -> Offset

the default shortcut key is:

CTRL + SHIFT + O
