Gimp is installed on root drive C:\
All data is being saved on a separate partition (D:)
All picture files on D: can be seen by Gimp and they list correctly but
cannot be loaded as the format (jpg, tif, gif etc) is given as
unrecognisable.
When the files are moved to C: they can be read and worked upon as
usual
until they are returned to D:.
Any suggestions as to what might be wrong.
