Hello, in our little gimp-community a user asked for help because he can open only 6 out of 10 pictures with Gimp.
An example picture - taken with his camera: an Olympus E-10: http://www.gaskutsche.de/temp/P4136695.JPG The error-message with Gimp-2.4.2 on Ubuntu-7.10 /usr/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins/jpeg: fatal error: Segmentation fault The error message with a self-compiled Gimp-2.5 development snapshot version on Ubuntu-7.10 [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ /opt/gimp-2.5/bin/gimp-2.5 This is a development version of GIMP. Deleting the exif-data seems the only way to open this picture with Gimp. Maybe someone with the needed know-how has time to examine this behavior. Many thanks in advance.
