gimp_wire_read(): error is usually what you get when the plugin
crashes
while talking to the main Gimp process. It's not a good thing.
Hmmm ... so:
======
Parsing 'C:\Documents and Settings\Alec\.gimp-2.6\pluginrc'
Querying plug-in: 'D:\Program
Files\GIMP-2.6\lib\gimp\2.0\plug-ins\pyconsole.py'
(gimp-2.6.exe:5912): LibGimpBase-WARNING **: gimp-2.6.exe:
gimp_wire_read(): error
======
probably indicates something wrong with my Gimp-python install? At least
some Python plugins appear to be working. Is there any way to pin this
down enough to file a meaningful bugzilla report?
Filters - python-fu - console shows:
====
GIMP 2.6.2 Python Console
Python 2.5.2 (r252:60911, Feb 21 2008, 13:11:45) [MSC v.1310 32 bit (Intel)]
>>>
===
but I don't know what I *ought* to be able to do in it :-(
