Subject:        gimpskip?

- i'm working on an o2 sgi.
- i'm using GIMP ( ==> for the first time <== ) to cut mattes....to paint
touchups on background art, etc. (the resaved files are then used in ER,
MAYA, ANIMO, & SHAKE2)

- i've looked at the dox but......
....i continue to have both timelag delays as i move my stylus... and
gimp putting extra connecting lines from last stroke to next stroke (when
next stroke is far awy in another part of the image i'm painting on).

 - is there a pen-down, or end line command (like ESCAPE or "q" or
something) that tells it when you are done with one stroke and beginning
another elsewhere, so it won't try to connect the two (unrelated) strokes?
- thx, dan.
